I am getting excited for the National Half Marathon this weekend! I ran the race last year and loved it, you can read about that experience here. It is an okay course, not as 'DC' as the Marine Corps Marathon, and not as scenic as the Charlottesville Marathon & Half Marathon, but it is a nice race. Last year I signed up, ran, and finished alone. It was a quiet race, people did not chat with each other the way they did in Disney, or any other of the long races I have run. This year a bunch of running moms from my neighborhood have signed up, so it will be a treat to have company on the course. Since it is only a half, no special prep is needed, I just need to get down to DC in time for the start! I will miss Leigh, Cynthia, and Jeannie. We all planned on doing this race together, Jeannie is injured, Leigh is very pregnant, and Cynthia is the proud mommy of a 3 day old!!!
My Meredith update is coming soon, poor third child is lacking pictures, that will be my project for tomorrow!!!

We need to get together soon...dinner next week? We went to El Tio last week and the girls were asking if William and Julia would be there!
